Favorite All-Around Casino/Hotel?

We are coming back to Vegas for our second visit in less than two weeks! We would like to see some of the hotels/casinos we missed the first time but only have four days. Staying at the Monte Carlo and want to know where to go for gambling/restaurant/free show/free attraction/shopping/music.

In other words, doing four casinos in four days, a casino a day; which ones to choose for best all around experience? (We have already been to Excalibur (fun!), MGM, (HUGE!) NYNY, Harrah%26#39;s, CircusCircus, Sahara and now imploded Boardwalk).

We were thinking:

1. Bellagio

2. Venetian

3. Ceasar%26#39;s Palace

4. Paris

5. Imperial Palace

If you only had four days, which would you choose??? Why???

Favorite All-Around Casino/Hotel?

so you are really asking about the casino - NOT the hotel, correct? What do you plan on doing in the casino besides restaurant/free show/shopping - gambling or just looking? know that any ';free show%26#39; last just minutes, shopping is personal - you can spend 1 minute or 10 hours. If you are gambling in the casinos what is your game preference.

For ';just looking'; bellagio, venetian and wynn

they all have many food options. while at wynn see spamalot, at venetian phantom or blue man, bellagio O

If you like Vegas and think you could get comps play / visit look at same corporate casinos. MGM/Mirage or Harrahs. Google web to get the specific properties in each group. Use the players cards.

But if you don%26#39;t care about chasing comps then, the Wynn would be an addition to your list, but the IP would not be on it. (Just my opinion.)

You are so lucky to be going back so soon. My vote would be for either Venetian or Wynn. The Venetian is beautiful and I have heard that people do well here. (I plan on spending a lot of quality time there in July when I go.) I think the Wynn is just as beautiful and have a huge soft spot for the casino; I stayed there last year and did relatively well there.

Venetian..Hotel and Casino , bars and places to eat....We love it!

First of all, let me clarify, we are going in two weeks, 05/28-06/02, last time we were there was 2004. I guess I didnt word that too well!

Mainly a slots player, also enjoy blackjack and video poker, but not really a big gambler; MIGHT spend fifty a day. Have lots of free coupons and 241 meal tickets so comps not a big factor.

What I guess I mean to say is that we%26#39;re looking for a hotel/casino that has a lot to do and see, where we can spend the day (';just looking';)...That%26#39;s why IP is on the list: Big Elvis, Auto Collection, Dealertainers...sounds like I should add Wynn to the list...I noticed no comments on Paris (should we stick around after the breakfast buffet?)

Here%26#39;s a suggestion. One thing I love to do when I%26#39;m in Vegas is take an Excalibur/Luxor/Mandalay Bay/Four Seasons walk. Allocate anywhere from 2 hours to half a day to do it, depending on how much you want to explore, eat, etc..

Excalibur is a fun but kind of average place (as you already know). You can take the walkway from there to Luxor, which is a little higher in quality and visually interesting. Then you can take the walkway from Luxor to Mandalay Bay (I believe it%26#39;s more like a ';mall'; that you walk through). Mandalay Bay is a step up in quality from Luxor and a fun place to walk around. Then, to top it off, you can walk from Mandalay Bay right into Four Seasons which is probably the best hotel in Vegas. (There%26#39;s a ';hidden'; walkway from Mandalay to Four Seasons just past MB%26#39;s check-in desk).

Visiting those four hotels in that order, it%26#39;s like you%26#39;re going from fair to good to better to best. It may sound funny, but I always like to visit the swanky restroom in the Four Seasons. Even the men%26#39;s restroom has lotion and cloth towels.

Treasure Island is fun to see; you can see the Sirens of Ti show free in the evening; and visit the Fashion Show Mall. Next door is the Mirage where they have the free volcano show and the white tiger exhibit.

Caesars also can occupy you for awhile. Lots of shops and restaurants and just walking the casino (s) there is an adventure.

Caesars, Venetian, Bellagio had a lot to look at, tons of shopping, and just overall a lot to walk around and see.

Wynn was, IMO, by far the most beautiful hotel/casino I%26#39;ve been in and if I had the money I%26#39;d stay there in a heartbeat just for the atmosphere. It%26#39;s a little further off from those others, but worth it. The way it is decorated is so gorgeous, they have some shopping (including a...Ferrari dealership I think), the outdoor waterfall, and very upscale restaurants and bars that I am looking forward to trying out this next time around. To me, Wynn stood out above the rest and was in a league of it%26#39;s own.
