Finally Last trip report Bally's 5/5-5/8

Tuesday morning I woke up and unplugged the wheelchair and flew down to the box office to get my tickets to Price is Right. I think I paid around $35 with a players card discount. I spent all morning playing my favorite Mystic slot machine and around noon I felt like something was stinging my feet. I looked down and I swear, my feet looked like a medical glove that someone had blown up. They were HUGE! The only other time my feet have swollen was on a cruise after an all day bender in Cozumel. That%26#39;s the same trip that I had the motorcycle wreck in Roatan that started all these knee surgeries. Anyway, I ended up having to go to Price is Right looking like I had on clown feet. It was really fun, and the whole time I spent trying to figure out how I would get on stage if I was picked. The prizes were not like the real show. They were kinda cheap, except for the Showcase Showdown which has an actual car as one of the prizes. It lasted for what seemed like an eternity as my feet just kept getting bigger.

Afterward, I went back to the room to put my feet up and recharge the chair for our big night downtown. We took the monorail to LVH so I could show DH my Twilight Zone machine and called JR, our handicab guy, to take us to the Golden Gate. Downtown was nice and I liked the show on the ceiling, but I kept thinking about how easy it would be for someone to pick my husband%26#39;s wallet while we were preoccupied. Sure enough, I had wheeled about 20 ft. in front of DH and turned around just in time to see some guy walk up behind him and look directly at his back pocket. I screamed at DH to grab his wallet and the guy took off running. After that, he moved his wallet to his front pocket. We tried each casino, but never won a thing, except at Four Queens. I saw a guy playing several dollar machines and winning like crazy, so I played the only machine that he couldn%26#39;t reach and won $80 on my second play. I cashed out and called JR to meet us back at Golden Gate. It was nice though because you actually have coins fall into the tray at Golden Gate, not tickets like everywhere else. It reminded me of the old Vegas.

Oh, I also forgot to mention that we ate at LVH buffet before going downtown and I have to say that it was one of the better places that we ate in Vegas. The desserts were to die for!

By the time we got back to Bally%26#39;s DH was exhausted and went to bed, but I stayed up gambling til 4 in the morning. I broke even, so I have to feel good about that. In all the casinos that I gave money to, I think that Bally%26#39;s and LVH were the best as far as winning. I lost money at MB, Ex, Bellagio, Paris, and several more, but all in all it was such a blast just to be in Vegas that it was worth every dime.

So sorry your foot was swollen to clown size. Hope the pain wasn%26#39;t too bad. I%26#39;m guessing it wasn%26#39;t because you stayed up %26#39;till 4am this last night!

Maybe someone was watching over you, to get you to turn and catch the pickpocket BEFORE he was able to act. Nice job....(friggin%26#39; theives)

Nice $80 score!

I am SO glad you had a blast. I can only imagine how much trouble it was to get around that way.

Great attitude!
