What now?

We have reservations for Oct. 14th-19th, but---after reading the schedule for conventions during that month like some ( 60,000) give or take a few, I%26#39;m having second thoughts about going at that time, will it be really crowded? will every one be rushing to the airport on the 19th to head out ? Now ';im thinking Nov. 4-9. what do you think?

What now?

I know I should have checked the convention calendar first, but I didn%26#39;t, so now I%26#39;m stuck!!

What now?

We%26#39;re going at the end of October! How do I check Convention Calendar?

i%26#39;m confused - are you asking should you change dates? or are you saying you are stuck?

is the convention ending on oct 18?

the town can absord 60K visitors - minimums may be raised at some casinos, airport may be busy depending on day of week. all in all avoid the casinos near the convention OR change dtaes if you aren%26#39;t stuck.

I am in town often when it is busy - make needed dinner res in advance and know that waits for some things will be longer. NASCAR and rodeo much more than 60K

Googled it .... OMG!!!!! There%26#39;s a conference for 130,000 starting on my husband%26#39;s birthday!

I was out there last week when the Kitchen and Bath convention was in town and that was about 60,000 people. I did not notice any

change in the amount of people. In the morning, it was alittle busy in the hotel. 60,000 people really is not that much for Vegas.

Gracie---to check the convention schedule go to www.lvcva.com

Bridgefan---what I was saying, and meant by being stuck, is should I go ahead and stick with Oct. 14-19 even if there alot of people there for conventions or would I be better off going in Nov. when there is less convention people there.... sorry if I confused you---sometimes I confuse myself LOL

60 k is not so bad for vegas-better to avoid the big ones such as CES

I agree with the last poster. Just try and stay away from the convention location.

I was in Vegas a year ago, January, when both the CES and porn convention were there. We were able to navigate just fine, but just gambled. We didn%26#39;t have dinner reservations, but ate at South Point. We were also able to book MamaMia the same day.

Can%26#39;t help you with the airport, sorry. We left after both had finished.
