If you wait until you get to vegas take a cab to either a Wal-Mart or Best Buy. Both have the best prices, but Best Buy will have a larger selection.

Hi

I would get it in the Uk. For something as important as your honeymoon you really need lots and lots of practice to get anything half decent. I%26#39;ve had mine 3 years and still regularly film my feet !

Do you have Jessops in Ireland ? What I did was go in there and talk to the staff (they do seem to know what they are talking about), work out which one I wanted then go home and find the cheapest shop on the web (price runner etc).

Also if anything goes wrong you could have problems with warranties etc.

Good luck for your wedding.

Do a little research, I beleive the ones you can buy here may not be compatable with the TV%26#39;s in Europe. PAL vs whatever the other system is. But if it can be used there, Fryes on Las Vegas Blvd a couple of miles south of Mandalay Bay is where I%26#39;d go shopping.

Couldn%26#39;t agree more with both posts above.Buying before you go will make it compatible and yes you will need some practice. But most of all don%26#39;t miss any of those memories before you get to Vegas and from the minute you land.

Thanks everyone........................ok research is on now for a good top of the range camcorder........................any recommendations????

p.s. i have never owned a camcorder but want one that is easily held obviously and will pust the boat out for a good one!

thanks again

when you say you will pust the boat out for a good one, how much are we talking ? Really depends on what you want to do with it.

If you are only going to use it when on holiday then you should be able to get a decent one for about £300. Push the boat out and for £500-£600 you can get a pucker full HD with 60GB hard drive. Price is endless as you can go to £5000 +!

If I was buying another one now I%26#39;d probably go for a Sony DCR SR82E or something similar. If you go for a hard drive one get it with a very large drive. A 60GB will give you 40 hours of play. Should be enough to keep the inlaws away!!

Hi Ads............

thank you so much, I will now research the ';Sony'; ones and as you say go for the hard drive you recommend....................

any where in particular doing good deals you would know off???

thanks again
