TR May 10 - 13 part 3

Saturday

We get up about 9 and get ready to go... head to Paris for breakfast buffet... got in line about 11... they stop serving breakfast at 11. :( BUT, behold they do have a BRUNCH!! WHOO HOO!!! It%26#39;s 24.99 for this buffet and worth every bit. I thought it was very good. Crepes are excellent. Eggs were great, good choice of potatoes, prime rib, chicken, mashed potatoes. It was scrumptious!

After eating we head out into the casino and start playing slots... I put in a $5 spot and was losing (go figure!) and low and behold I hit $50 on my last flippin quarter!!! :) BIG smiles!!! Well, I%26#39;m sitting there grinning and my roomie (who%26#39;s just 21 as of january and her first trip out there) waves a ticket in my face for $119!!! I was SOOO happy for her. She%26#39;s like I don%26#39;t know what I did!! I hit bet one and didn%26#39;t anything and then hit max bet and the thing just went nuts. So... go us!

We cash out and then head back to Caesar%26#39;s to get our passes for the monorail, we get on at Bally%26#39;s this time. Seems closer for some reason. We head down to MGM and then shop along over there at Hooters and then some of the souvenir shops... hit the M %26amp; M shop. Took some pics... ate at the food court over by the M %26amp; M shop. Had Wendy%26#39;s which you can never go wrong with. Hopped the monorail back to Flamingo... we went through the Forum shops and got a couple things at the Armani exhange. We also hit the playboy shop and got yard Daiquiris at Fat Tuesday%26#39;s. 190 Octane has been my favorite since I was about 17... :)

We head back to the room finally about 7 that night and change quick and grab more cash to head down to Fremont St. The cabbie on the way down there was great! Got us down there for $15... with the drop-off being the Golden Nugget. We head over to Binion%26#39;s to meet friends from Minneapolis. We all gamble for awhile... I hit another $50 and roomie hits another $70... go girl!!! Other two friends from Caesar%26#39;s didn%26#39;t win at all while we were out there. :(

We head out of Binion%26#39;s onto the street and Greg Anderson was playing out there so we listened to him for awhile... he even winked at me! Tho I had no idea who he was at the time... just thought he was cute.

Then the band at the other end was Trick Pony - whom I%26#39;ve seen out here at the Iowa Speedway. They are ok... not one of my favorites tho. I had forgotten that the Country Music Awards are tomorrow... so that%26#39;s why all those people were there. Gretchen Wilson was supposed to play Sunday night I guess.

We just hung around down here and then watched the light show for a bit. It was a very cool thing... I guess I had it built up a little more in my mind than it was. But, we were only down there for a few hours so I don%26#39;t think I got the full effect of it. We went back to the Golden Nugget and grabbed a cab back to Caesar%26#39;s... this dude took the interstate back because there was an accident or something. Cab ride back was $21...

We run over to the Bellagio Fountains and watch them and then head back up to our rooms to back because it was midnight and we had to be up at 4 for our 8 a.m. flight....

All in all it was a great trip!!! I would do a few things different next time (like wear my gym shoes more... even tho i knew better!) and some other stuff. But, Vegas is worth whatever bumps there are every time!!

TR May 10 - 13 part 3

Good for you and your friend. Wins at paris and downtown!

I like One Trick Pony! Would have been a kick to see them or Gretchen...

You seemed to navigate well by using the monorail! Too bad your friends didn%26#39;t win. Sometimes that really puts a damper on the trip.

Glad you had a great trip and thanks for the energetic TR!

TR May 10 - 13 part 3

Thanks for everyone%26#39;s help with all the questions and answers and tips!! They helped A LOT!!!

Yes we did a lot in 3 days. I%26#39;m a move and a shaker compared to my friends... I think that comes from growing up in the city! ;)

Nice trip report Loddii! Sounds like a great time with all of your friends. Thanks for taking the time to write!

190 Octane has been my favorite since I was about 17... :),,,,,,surely you did not engage in illegal underage drinking......I am shocked.....................lol lol lol.

Nice TR.We are 47,act and party like we are 27,and feel like we are 77 the next morning. Were thinking of trying Pure ,besides bottle service any way to cut lines. Can you go to P.C.D lounge and get in that way??????.No way I am standing in line with a load of half naked 21y.o. girls.............my heart or neck muscles would not take it.

firsttimer... You can%26#39;t cut in through the PCD lounge. It%26#39;s all one entrance. The only thing to expedite your getting in is to slip the door guy a $50 or a hundo. I saw a few guys do this and they were in. And no I NEVER engaged in drinking illegally... That was a typo! ;)

That%26#39;s awesome that you guys like to party! I think you will like Pure as long as you are prepared for the crowds.

You can go to www.napkinnights.com and get on their guest list for Pure. The guy at the door told us that%26#39;s what got us in for no cover. So...

Guys have A LOT more difficult time getting in than girls.

Good report...I really enjoyed it..Slotto

Will have the wife with me and she can out boogie our 21 and 23 yo daughters and all their friends.

They all love coming to parties in our house as we know how to have a good time

That%26#39;s very cool firsttimer... your wife should have no problem getting in... guys on the other hand, way way different problem. They let girls in by the group and then a few guys. And so on for the rest of the night.

What about couples?.I could not let her loose in there on her own.Mayhem would ensue...lol

Very good TR yeah you have to wear comfy shoes when you are in Sin City i always bring 3 pairs.
