Curb Side Check In

I have never used this service before as I have always liked to hand my luggage to a person and see it go down the little ramp. I have always used the check in at the airport for my boarding pass too.

Well this time I think I am going to save some time and print up my boarding pass here before I go to the airport. Has anyone ever had any problems using the curb side checkin? Do I just go to the security line after I have done this? Thanks for the info everyone.

Curb Side Check In

I%26#39;ve never had a problem or even heard of anyone having a problem with curbside check-in. They accept tips... so they%26#39;re usually way more friendly and helpful than the rest of the airport staff.

And yes, you can head straight to the security line after checking the bags.

Curb Side Check In

We always use curbside check in if available. We check in online and then just go up to the skycab and they print out the boarding passes. Tip them and off to security. My husband has dropped me off with luggage, he goes and parks the car and then we check in when departing from our home airport. Very easy and no worries.

I used to use it all the time but with Southwest, the line sometimes seems longer than inside and with United and American, there are extra fees. When I have used it, there have been no issues and you go staight to security from there.

I use it everytime I leave San Jose. Driver lets us off, we hop in line and check our bags and receive our boarding passes from our porinted out ticket reservation number.

No long lines inside at the check in. One thing for us is, they can give us our ticket, but if we want exit rows or upgrade to first class, you have to do it inside or at the gate...

Once we have the ticket, proceed to security. Then we ask for upgrades at the gate... Never had a problem.

even easier and time-saving - carry-on only. i can do close to a month with carry-on so any trip to LV can be done. If we need formal attire we ship it ahead. I value time and convenience - waiting for luggage at baggage claim takes up too much time. Have a limo meet you and you can be out of the airport ina few minutes.

if you must check baggage curbside is convenient - check it and go straight to your gate.

I%26#39;ve never had a problem using curb side check In.. Try it. You%26#39;ll like it!

We flew Alegiant Air last June. We used curbside check-in and received our seat assignment . When we got to our gate, we discovered that 4 of us were in 3 different rows. When we asked someone from the airline, they told us we shouldnt have used curbside unless we have pre assigned seats and there was nothing we could do about it. I sat next to a stranger for 3 hours. So, if you are flying Alegiant Air, prebook your seats or go inside.

Thanks for your replies everyone. I am not worried about the seatswe have those pre-booked. It is my luggage that I am worried about. Leaving it outside just scares me but it sounds like it will be ok. I will be brave and do it.

VegasFun- that%26#39;s kind or weird. We fly Allegiant and always use curbside check in. We just ask to sit together. Did you not notice that you were in different rows when you got your boarding passes?

They usually ask us, aisle, middle, window? then they ask us if so and so row is okay.

Ms Jack.... US Air in San Jose puts them on a conveyor belt and we%26#39;ve never had a problem. Others might have to load them on a dolly then take them to there other location. I think we%26#39;ve had that with AA. Still no problems!
