Question.

Okay so many people on this board have made it abundently clear that i can not drink or gamble due to me being under 21, fair dues,

but surely i am able to sit in the bars and resturants drinking soft drinks?

I ask because i am going with 3 over 21s, i can accept not gambling and not drinking, but being evicted from establishments due to age, surely not?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Question.

You can sit in places that serve food. Most bars/nightclubs you do have to be 21 to enter. Some Bars/restaurants allow under 21 until a set time like 9pm or so then turn to 21 and over. You wont be able to sit in the bar area.

Question.

You most definitely will NOT be allowed in bars, casinos (unless you%26#39;re just walking through) or clubs at any time. As previous poster said you can eat in a restaurant but that%26#39;s about it.

And if you try to do any of the above you WILL be asked for ID and it may all get a bit embarrassing.

If it%26#39;s a regualr restaurant with bar, then yes. Otherwise you%26#39;ll be SOL.

I%26#39;m in my late twenties and got ID%26#39;d at Napoleons in Paris during the dueling pianos show when I ordered a 7up. Had I not been old enough they would have asked me to leave (even though I was with my mom). Vegas is a tough place for a nearly 21 year old.

The laws here in the United States are probably very different than what you are used to.

All the states, not just Nevada and not just in Las Vegas will not allow anyone under 21 in a bar. You will be asked for ID and you will not be allowed to enter if you are under 21. The Casinos will be the same way.

These business face fines and or lost licenses for allowing anyone under 21 where they are not allowed to be.

Nope, no bars unfortunately, not even soft drinks. There will be people on here who will tell you to ';take a chance';, etc, etc..... And you can if you want to, but you WILL be ID%26#39;d and you WILL be asked to leave.

I have seen it countless times, people ordering a coke and they STILL get ID%26#39;d, and I%26#39;ve seen them get annoyed whn asked to leave.

Vegas for an under 21 (but over 18) year old is not much fun really.

Bening serious, is there any way you and your mates can change your destination choice? I%26#39;d imagine your over 21 friends are going to want to do a fair bit of drinking and gambling whilst over there - which leaves you on your own for much of the trip :-(

Sorry unless its a resturant...you will not be allowed in...

i look over 21 though, and surely vegas is 2 busy 2 id every single punter?

they id everyone... all the time. I just got back yesterday... I%26#39;m 28 and look about my age, didn%26#39;t stop them from carding me every time I ordered a darn drink!

and surely there are bars (such as my hotels) that i can sit in a quiet corner of and ';get away'; with drinking soft drinks, i dont look like a teenager..

Don%26#39;t count on it, I am 31 and I get carded, and I don%26#39;t look that young.
