i called to make a reservation for a non smoking room...they said you cant ...its by request when you check in. you may not get non smoking. do all the resorts do this

Most hotels accept requests for room types. They don%26#39;t guarentee anything. It can be frustraiting. I have never heard of a hotel no accepting reservations for non smoking before. You might want to call the hotel and ask if they can put a request in the comments section of the reservation. It won%26#39;t guarentee anything, but it might help.

We stayed at the Silver Legacy with a big group. Some of the people got smoking rooms, but wanted non smoking rooms. The cleaning people brought up a big ion machine and left it in the room for 30 min. It took out all of the smoke smell. We were really surprised. I am sure El Dorado has something similiar. So if you get a smoking room ask them to do this and you won%26#39;t have a problem.
