MGM Grand has really cool video Roulette slot machines (much like video blackjack) with only a single zero and interestingly pays much better for number bets (i.e. 36:1 for betting a single number, 9:1 for betting on 4 numbers) than the table or Rapid Roulette versions. I believe they were multi-denomination machines, starting at 25 cents. They are close the hotel check-in and right before you enter the Studio Walk.
The first time I felt the need to stroll up to a roulette table and plunk down a bill on black was at the Mirage, and it happened to be a Euro (one Zero) table. I do remember it having a minimun 25$ bet, though, I believe mos of them are high like that due to the better odds. (I won by the way and now too scared to do it again!)

36 for 1 is the same as 35 to 1. Read it as ';I am going to give you 36 for your 1.'; Meaning you only gain 35.
So the video roulette machines have the exact same payouts as the actual tables? I remember reading on here somewhere that the video poker games have pretty bad payouts (although of course you can%26#39;t recreate a poker game like you can roulette...)
dwright, Bellagio has singel zero wheels in its ';high roller'; rooms behind the baccarat lounge. The minimum bet is usually $100 and the max to any number is an amazing $1000. They also told me that they would pay double on a max bet nine ways on a number in the middle column (9k bet 270k payout) if it was true and if anybody has hit it, I suspect that its been discontinued.
