Pets in hotels

I may be getting a puppy before i go again.. so i gotta make sure it will be okay somewhere!

There are plenty of places The Four Seasons and Marriott Residence Inn are 2 places that allow dogs nationwide.

Do you dog a favor and find a doggy day care place where you live. Your dog will be happier than in a hotel room in Vegas.

If you must take your new puppy with you , instead of leaving your dog in a hotel room alone all day why not try to find a doggie day care or boarding facility near the strip? That way your dog will be able to play and have company while you are out instead of being in a strange place alone. When you pick your dog up it will be so tired from playing all day that it will sleep soundly all night.

Some hotels do not allow the animal to be alone in the room for any period of time so be aware of that when making a decision.

If you board with them overnight your dog will have the benefit of daycare during the day and a safe controlled enviromment at night.

I%26#39;m not from Las Vegas so I%26#39;m not suggesting any particular place based on experience but this is what an internet search turned up:

Or better yet, as GoodBeer stated find a reputable boarding/day care at home. Traveling is extremely stressful for animals. Believe me, you will miss your pet more than it will miss you.

You said you might be getting a puppy before you leave for Vegas. Why not get the puppy after the trip?? I can%26#39;t think of anything worse than getting a new pet and then either leaving it or having it in strange surroundings so soon after getting it.

Apologies for the triple post!! The site was so slow, twice it wouldn%26#39;t go through, shoulda known....this site has problems at times! Grrr!

I agree about finding the doggy day care or boarding while you are gone. I just got a puppy last week and the thought of leaving him alone in a hotel room breaks my heart. Someplace he can play and be safe, even if he has to be away from you, is far preferrable.

Less coffee Gabby....lol

Yes Gabby less coffee ......and more alcohol..........lol lol lol
