Just curious when you have your first drink to Vegas..plane,car,airport..hotel in Vegas..where ?

My husband may have one at the airport, I usually have one after we%26#39;ve checked in and head to the casino. Yep, find a good machine and order a nice cold beer. mmmmm.

This last trip my flight wasn%26#39;t carrying any milk. US Airways something like we don%26#39;t carry milk anymore??? sounds crazy. I usually like Kauhlua and cream or milk for the flight.

Other than that when I first sit at the slot is when I need liquor. It%26#39;s part of being in Vegas.

As soon as possible? Actually, we usually fly in near a meal time so it%26#39;s with our first meal (last time that just happened to be a 8:30 Sunday brunch...)

Usually right have check-in, my husband says, ';Let%26#39;s get a drink and scope out the casino.';

The first time we stayed at the Paris, they happened to have a booth set up selling champagne by the glass that we passed as we headed to see what our room was like. Champagne happens to be my favorite alcoholic beverage, so my husband bought us each a glass which we drank on our way.

x 2 whiskey and dry straight after take-off. It%26#39;s a ritual I%26#39;ve had for years.

One before I leave to go to the airport, 1 at the airport and 4 or 5 on the plane. Hey it%26#39;s a 5 hour flight!

Checking in on my end, waiting for flight, usually a drink at the bar, and then a few beers or drinks on the plane ride there. Then, unfortunately we start to sober up on descent, picking up luggage, tranporting to hotel and checking in, so we start all over again shortly after we check into our room :-)

But I had my first drink in Vegas at the Marina Casino more than 30 years ago, and I haven%26#39;t stopped since.

So, its kind of a ';chicken or egg'; thing at this point. Seems every drink is a remembrance of Vegas things past or dreams of Vegas trips yet to come.

They can have my cocktail glass when they pry it out of my cold, dead hands.

I usually fly out in the morning and dont have a habit of drinking alcohol in the morning even in vegas but I make allowances and usually have one at about lunch time when I am playing. If its a little early maybe a bloody mary.

Honestly my favorite drinking time in Vegas starts at about 10:00 PM or after dinner and I start in on the bourbon and see how long it takes me.....
