Question?

Is there much difference between Oct. and Feb. as far as the weather goes? We usually go in Feb. and the weather at that time is somewhat cool, I hope Oct. will be a little warmer....any comments on this?

Yes, though it depends on when you go in October. It can be in the 90s in the early part of the month. I would say October is more comparable to late March/early April than February.

Best to check a weather site for weather related information. Rather than going by what someone thinks they remember about the one or two times they visited Las Vegas.

See, case in point, Octobers average is 81, March 69 and April 78. Truly to be equal to the October average one must say April/May, not March/April.

The point being that October is a much better time to go weather-wise than February. Which I AM Sure it is. And it looks like Stratton is too.

I would go with October. I remember being in Vegas late March, it was too windy/cool for swimming. My last visit in early November was absolutely lovely, so my thought would be that October is a good time to go weather wise.

I do agree with RUSure. What happens one year has no bearing on what will happen the next year. I have been to Vegas often enough to know that unless you are talking about the summer- the temperatures in most months can be all over the place. I have been able to swim at the beginning of November but other years I was wearing a jacket during the day -and the dates were the same!

October- average high-mid 70s to upper 80s.

But these are just averages. You can hit a warm or cool spell.

The chances are the weather will be warmer in October than February. But look at the extremes.

Well................my husband and I always go in October for our wedding anniversary.....I always bring shorts, and swimsuit! We just went in February this year, and it snowed......but then it warmed up by the next week...........so........who knows????????? I do think October will be your best bet........

We really aren%26#39;t interested in the pools, just hope its not to hot to walk around and see things, we will be there around the 15th of oct.

As stated before, last years temps do not gurarantee that this year will be the same. October 15, 2006 saw a high of 74 and a low of 54.
