the best 5 star hotel

Hi , of all the 5star hotels , which one is the best to stay at with a husband and two daughters 19 and 22. We don%26#39;t gamble and will be coming around july 17 to 29 for 3 or 4 + days. Thank you in advance.

the best 5 star hotel

i presume you mean in LV?

depends on which rating you use. AAA rates GN 4 star - which proves why AAA is useless!!

In lV the best all-around not counting casino - are Four season%26#39;s on strip. are you willing to off-strip?

I gamble big, so casino is always a factor.

theHotel, wynn, Venetian are my favs - spa and restaurant chocies factor into decision.

what amenities are important to you? Is hotel only or hotel + casinp part of the decisoin-making?

the best 5 star hotel

The Wynn is the nicest hotel/casino on the strip. If you don%26#39;t gamble, then Four Seasons might be your best option since they don%26#39;t have a casino. It%26#39;s a beautiful facility.

The Montecito Resort and Casino.

Well there is only one true 5-star facility in LV and that is the Tower Suites @ Wynn. Otherwise there are none

harsh.. i have stayed in some of the worlds best hotels in asia, uk, europe, indian ocean and belive the bellagio is great.

accept they are all huge, but bellagio has it over the others due to the location. if the pool is a factor , the pools are great.

wynn is very nice. same concept as bellagio (ie water attraction- all top restaurants based around it, nice shops etc) but not central enough. plus i had vip services at the bellagio.

the hotel at mandalay too far out, but seemed nice

four seasons- not really doing las vegas there if no casino- i am not a gambler but believe you have got to see the casinos

venetian seems quite nice

caesars nice if in new tower

first visit should be bellagio due to location and class

';depends on which rating you use. AAA rates GN 4 star - which proves why AAA is useless!!';

Why does it mean AAA is useless? What is the true determination of a 5 Star resort? Each person is looking for something differerent when they come to Vegas, but so many are made to look inferior because they stay at The Flamingo, PH, MGM or any where other than Wynn or Bellagio.

Why is Bellagio considered nicer than CP? They both offer than same overpriced restaurants, the rooms in the Augustus Tower at CP are the same as Bellagio. Are you waited on by a servent for anything you need at either place if you spend enough?

Sorry I still don%26#39;t get this Bellagio is the best garbage that continues to be spewed on this forum. And that doesn%26#39;t mean I think that anyone who swears by it is wrong, it just means that no one has every explained why they are so far above anywhere else in Vegas.

Why is the difference and if they are that much better, why are they pushing $159 rooms in promotions?

I

BobandJodi, you seem a bit bitter. Everyone is looking for something different. If you consider the restaurants at certain places overpriced, that is your choice. However, some people consider those restaurants fine dining and are willing to pay for the experience.

For some people Flamingo is fine. They are looking for a different experience in Vegas. I personally don%26#39;t pay too much attention to AAA ratings so I don%26#39;t know how they compare.

The reason the prices are such a bargain at some point is they know that it is not the rooms that make the money and it is better to get $159 for a room and have the people hopefully spend the money elsewhere in the hotel.

As previously mentioned, Wynn Tower Suites is the only 5 star property in Las Vegas. Bellagio is a five Diamond (Both Wynn Tower and Resort sides are 5 diamond.) The Four Seasons has exceptional service (not sure why Mobile didn%26#39;t recognize it as 5 stars) but costs considerably more.
