Buffets with kids??

We are travelling with the kids (5 %26amp; 10) and plan to stay at Paris Hotel. Any suggestions about best buffets to take the kids to and price of buffets. We will be in Las Vegas for 4 nights. Thanks

Buffets with kids??

My 9 yr old and I ate breakfast at Paris, it is $14.95 pp and you might save a couple $ for the kids not sure. My daughter did not eat enough to warrant the buffet cost.

I have read the buffet for breakfast is good at Orleans and Mon- Sat it is only around 9.00 each and all drinks are included.

I would eat Lunch or Dinner at Margarittaville at the Flamingo hotel they had large portions of all types of food and you all could share a couple of meals between the 4 of you.

For breakfast at Paris go to Lenotore that is the bakery by the elevators they open at 630am and they have the best pasteries and crossaints- great coffee.

You might also try the Victorian room at Bills-good chinese food and I like their prime rib dinner- again enough food to share- portions are too large in LV for one person.

if you click on the hotel name and go to the detail page, you will see the kids prices. each buffet also has an ';appropriate for kids'; rating. keep in mind that some people think that vegas in general isn%26#39;t appropriate for kids, so the ratings might be lower than you would give.

http://www.a2zlasvegas.com/food/buf-list.php3 also has some info, but not as specific.

phone numbers for all the buffets are on both pages, so you can call and ask about kids prices.

Wynn and Bellagio will both be off limits to the kids.

keep in mind that the buffets will have very long lines. i know i%26#39;ve waited an hour for the Paris buffet at lunch. some of the less popular ones like flamingo and harrahs will have shorter lines, but they are still pretty good.

oh my gosh the other poster is right about food at the Paris....the buffet, as well as the pastry shop, YUMMMMMY for breakfast ! We also have a chain restaurant, IHOP *International House of Pancakes* which for the kids, is a great place for breakfast. There is one at the south end of the strip at Las Vegas Blvd. and Warm Springs Road, right in front of the Factory Outlet stores. Very inexpensive.

The kids would probably also like eating at some of the specialty restaurants inside the hotels rather than the buffets. My kids always like the Rain Forest Cafe inside of the MGM Hotel/Casino, and they like the Cheesecake factory and Planet Hollywood restaurants inside Ceasars Palace Forum shops. At Cheesecake Factory though, make sure they share a meal, because the size of portions are huge.

Cynda if we get a taxi to that IHOP can we then walk across to the Outlet Mall..............love IHOP for breakfast.

I gotta go a different route here. Yes Paris is good if you like crepes and pastry, but it is no better than any other breakfast buffet. With kids and a $14 price tag who needs it?

Two really great ones for $6 or less is Orleans and Sam%26#39;s Town. They have crepes and pastry if that is your thing plus hundreds of items kids and adults will love like real breakfast meat and cooked to order eggs.

Stick to lunch, same foods as dinner at 30+% less, eat at 2pm, you may not need another meal that day

Paris, Aladdin, Mandalay Bay, Rio are best choices. MGM is as expensive but longer lines and a little less selection of quality choices

, MonteCarlo, Luxor, Harrahs are OK.

Wynn, Bellagio premium priced, less kid-friendly choices.

(My son%26#39;s top favorites when age 10, and today; Mandalay Bay, Aladdin, Rio)

Buffet with kids.....?

I personally favor ';open range'; kids myself, not in-home raised, cooked rare with a lot of pepper and a little curry. But no buffet in Vegas serves them anymore now that the Ho and Boardwalk have closed down.
