I'm not 21 but I still like to dance, where to go?

My girlfriend and I will be in Vegas next month from Thu-Mon and would like to go out dancing after dinner but not necessarily to a club. We are not 21 years old anymore and don%26#39;t want to stand in line for hours because the chances of being picked out of a lineup to get in, especially in Vegas, are LONG GONE. . We want to go somewhere there%26#39;s a good crowd and know from past years that it changes from year to year. Can anyone recommend where to go Thu/Fri/Sat/Sun that has dance music, pop, not hip hop?

LOL I thought you meant you weren%26#39;t 21 YET. I was thinking, ';good luck!';

My friends and I (mid to late 20s) had fun last year @ Studio 54 @ MGM. Very diverse crowd and everyone appeared to be having a good time. Great mix of music, too: 70s through current house mix. (Though I don%26#39;t remember much hiphop, but you said you didn%26#39;t like that, anyway.)

no way to mistake that you are older than 21 - the word STILL in your subject line is slef-explanatory.

I also am not 21 and we still like to dance. Try some of the lounges, such as la Scena in venetian - they have great band that plays motown, oldies, top 40%26#39;s. Always enjoyable.

Sorry, bridgefan, you lose, even though I know you don%26#39;t like to do that. The subject line could just as easily be read as ';I%26#39;m not 21 [yet], but I still like to dance, where to go?'; as ';I%26#39;m not 21 [anymore] but still like to dance, where to go?'; Quit trying to pick fights.

I%26#39;m with you Sister Dino!! LOL

I, too, thought it meant under 21 and was hoping Midgetmama gave the poor person that one place she knows about rather than 4 slams telling her not to go to Vegas!

Oops...forgot to answer...lol

I had some business associates with ages from early 30s to late 40s all had a good time at Studio 54 at MGM last year.

Another one who thought she was under 21 and I was waiting for all of the %26#39;good luck%26#39; replies. I LOVE to dance, wouldn%26#39;t know where to go either though. So I%26#39;m looking forward to the replies. Actually though, I have no problem dancing just about anywhere. We actually were at Excalibur a few years back and they had a great band in the lounge. Lots of people dancing and singing. My kind of music.

Last year we went to TABU in MGM and although the music was great there were about 20 of us in the whole place and I%26#39;m not one to get out on the dance floor first. I agree with Studio 54, it%26#39;s almost a guarenteed good time, however since we%26#39;ve been before, we%26#39;re looking for somewhere new.

I think we will have to get one of the many teachers to comment on the accuracy of the post.I too thought the poster was under 21. IF and I say IF Fontana in Bellagio is open it gets great reviews,

Do you prefer live music or D.J s?
