A one time splurge

we have stayed at the Mirage for our first trip and MGM the second year.

We really liked them both very much.

This year he told me to decide which hotel I want to stay at, cost not an issue.

So, in your opinion of course, should I splurge on the Bellagio, Venetian, or Wynn?

We like the casino in all 3, and loved the Bellagio buffet, but we can eat anywhere.

Location is only a small issue, as we love to walk the strip.

Oh and a great pool is also a big deal, as we spend every morning there until about 3PM.

So..what say you?

(I am still not really sold on not going back to the MGM, as I was really comfortable there, but this is something he wants to do for me.)

If he wants you to try the best, go for the Wynn. Many here say it%26#39;s the creme of the top.

If you find it doesn%26#39;t quite fit you, go back to the MGM next time!

Two reasons some people do not like Wynn are location and high price. Since cost and location are not big issues to you, Wynn would fit right in. Why not try the fanciest one this time? ;-)

If location and cost are not an issue, then I%26#39;d pick Red Rock and rent a car to get to the strip. If it wasn%26#39;t for the $250 a night midweek prices when I%26#39;m going back, I%26#39;d definitely stay at RR again.

We have stayed at the Bellagio twice and are going back in July. We love the pools there and spend many hours of the day soaking up the atmosphere. Remember there are 5 pools with plenty of sunbeds. You could even splash out and rent a cabanafor a day.

If you are pool people, then stay at Wynn or Bellagio, both have beautiful pool areas.

I am swaying towards Bellagio at this point.

Don%26#39;t really want to rent a car, or cab it everywhere, otherwise RR would be an option.

I prefer Wynn but Bellagio is also nice. Wynn%26#39;s rooms are newer and bigger. Another option would be an Augustus Tower room at Caesars. They are almost as nice as Wynn%26#39;s rooms and have as good as a location as Bellagio, I find the views from Augustus Tower to be better than any of the Bellagio rooms (excluding fountain view.) Caesars has great pools as well. I love Wynn%26#39;s pools and if you splurged for Wynn Tower Suites then you would have access to the Tower Suites pools which would be less crowded.

I%26#39;m a local who can%26#39;t seem to find the attraction to the Wynn. I don%26#39;t know why....I include it on tours when friends or family come to visit...but I just can%26#39;t get into the hype for that place.

Bellagio on the other hand, I%26#39;d recommend hands down to anyone. I%26#39;d also recommend The Hotel at Mandalay Bay. Pool...wow.
