Trip report, Planet Hollywood, Flamingo, via San Diego.

If you want to check the first part of our trip, check in San Diego forum, Coachella and San Diego. So far, the trip is AMAZING.

Wednsday night, fly from San Diego, get car, cruise strip, check into Planet Hollywood. Place is beautiful, room even better(suite) no line up at all. Tired. Time for bed.

Thursday. Walk down to MGM for a really good breakfast at Rainforest cafe. Checked out the lion habitat. Walking back up strip, minding our own business, got tickets for Mac King. A few hours later, proud owner of a timeshare in the new Planet Hollywood Towers. Not to mention two buffets at Planet Hollywood, 75$ to spend at the Planet Hollywood restaraunt, stretch limo ride, and a couple of meals with the timeshare people. And tickets to ';V'; the Variety Show. Before the timeshare thing, we hit Mandalay Bay, Luxor, and NYNY. We went directly to Lance Burton that night, and had GREAT seats. Show was good, but I think we prefer the smaller, less flashy magic shows.

Went back to room, tucked son in, went downt to casino for a bit, and came back to an awesome bath overlooking the strip and the Bellagio. !!

Friday. Used our free tix to Mac King, but he wasnt there, saw Tim Gabrielson instead. Awesome. And he really connected with our son. He even took the time to talk to my son after, and paid him some big compliments. My son went on stage with Tim for one of his tricks. Went to Circus Circus to hit Adventuredome with son. Rode all the good rides. Went back to PH, showered, changed, and went back to CC for a great dinner at The Steakhouse. Portions were HUGE. Too big to eat, and we didnt want to waste food, so we took a doggie bag. I knew I wouldnt eat later, but thats what the wife wanted. First traffic light after CC, some guy is out in traffic, holding sign';Food Please';. Well today is his lucky day. We give him a complete dinner, and we are all happy. Did I mention that the portions are huge at The Steakhouse. Grabbed a Krispy Kreme on the way out though! Headed to the Orleans for the Mini Moto Motocross race, which was a blast. Went back to PH, gambled a bit then had another bath in our awesome bathroom.

Saturday. Hit the Spice Market for breakfast. Enough said. Then off to Sam Boyd for the Supercross. Probably the best day of the trip. We are fans, and this day did not dissapoint. We got a signed jersey from one of the racers, and we mingled all day. During the National Anthem, the stadium was buzzed by two fighter jets. VERY COOL. The entire night was great. Went back to PH, dropped son off, then mingled in casino with the racers, and went to a party thrown by Carey Hart at the nightclub Triq. Didnt stay that long, as I dont drink, and we headed back to our room for another bath!! I loved that bathroom.

Sunday. Changed hotels. Bummer. We were loving PH, but had a Go Luxury room @ The Flamingo, so our son could enjoy the pool. Room was awesome again, pool was great, had a good time there. Still went back to PH for Spice Market dinner, then caught the V variety show. Pretty cool.

Monday. Relaxing day. Went to Planet Hollywood for lunch, and hit the Forum Shops. Lots of pool time. Wife and son went to Gameworks, I took in an AA meeting at the Riviera. Met up and hit the Treasure Island show, the volcano, walked the strip, and took pictures and other touristy things.

Tuesday. Went to Meadows Mall, to hit See%26#39;s Candy before flying home.

All in all, a great time in Vegas. Which is not normally the case. I usually cant wait to get out of Vegas. This time was different. I think it was because I was never hungover. I didnt want to leave.

Side note for all the people that bashed me for saying that my son had those ';Heely%26#39;s'; (the shoes with the wheels). I am pleased to say that my son DID NOT HAVE ONE SINGLE NEGATIVE INCIDENT while wearing his Heelys. He kept up with us like a champ, and we did a lot of walking. No troubles with traffic, no irregular surface issues(quite the opposite actually, there is a TON of smooth surfaces in Vegas) and he never cut off anyone, or bumped into anyone. In fact, we probably had over 20 compliments on ';hey, where did you get those shoes?';, and well over 50 looks of amazement as he effortlessly glided by. Seriously.

Thanks for all your help on this forum. Dont hesitate with any questions. See you when Planet Hollywood Towers are done!!!!

Glad you had fun. This may be the first time I%26#39;ve heard of someone actually buying the timeshare! :)

I am staying at PH june 15 and was very interested in hearing about the timeshare.. I guess I will hear more about it when I go but any info would be great! Glad to hear you had such a great time!

Glad you and your family had a great time. Happy for your new purchase, and smiled when you handed a dinner to someone who needed it, especially because you probably would not have eaten it.

Glad you had a great time. The weather was good for all of you? Did you have a chance to check out the pool, or gamble? The outside sure is going through constuction. At least all the letters are up to read %26#39;planet hollywood%26#39; on completion.

KKPrinces. They push you hard and want you to make the decision
