Does anyone have an opinion on Kahunaville? Some friends just came back from Vegas and said it was a great time. Just wondering if anyone else agrees. My next trip will be in 2 weeks and I can%26#39;t wait!
Anyone been to Kahunaville?
We went there because we had a certificate from restaurant.com. The food was decent but the flair bartending was entertaining. Our side of the bar won free shots during the sound off contest. They were playing some fun music and we enjoyed that as well. The dueling pianos came on after we%26#39;d been there about an hour and they were very good! We ended up staying quite a while enjoying the show. We had a great time for sure. However, lots of other great places to go in Vegas so we haven%26#39;t been back. If you%26#39;re in the vicinity it%26#39;s worth checking out.

Been there several times and it%26#39;s fun. The food is good. It%26#39;s fun to watch the bartenders flare. Our first visit though was almost our last. We ended up getting a table in a gray area between two servers areas. Neither one was helping us. We were getting really PO%26#39;d. Nothing was working to get eithers attention. Finally a waitress who%26#39;s station was on the other side of the restaurant was going by our table on her way to the kitchen and saw we were upset. We told her what was going on and she apologized and instead of telling the other servers she took care of us the rest of or visit. She was awesome. She recieved a very good tip also. We liked her so much we went back the next night and asked for a table in her area. She was just as great. Kahunaville didn%26#39;t have any way of leaving comments on their website so I sent an email to the webmaster not knowing if it would do any good. Never received a reply but when we went back a couple years later we went back and she still worked there and was now the hostess. We found out that the email was forwarded to the Vegas location and posted in the employee area. Even though she wasn%26#39;t a server she still treated us great and remembered us after 2 years. We were happy to find out she was about to move back East with her new husband to a nicer place for her daughter to grow up. Sorry I%26#39;m running on but this is how much this girl impressed us.
But yes, Kahunaville is a great place but speak up if you don%26#39;t seem to be being served. I have a feeling after that night they got the problem sorted out.
Its a fun place to stop in for a drink...food good too. The drinks are very good and they do not skimp on the liquor. If you go to the pirates show they hand out two for one drink coupons at the door back into the casino..those are worth at least 7 dollars.
Good choice,,,,, reasonable prices
We ate there several times during our stay in March. The portions are big so we split a meal and that saves on the cost too. The drinks are great (expensive).
We had breakfast there one morning and the Hawaiian coffee is the best! We had a table with a poolside view (which was great too:)

Food is good, not great. The cheesecake was really good. The serving size is very large- just a warning. The bartenders are very good. It is worth checking out if your in the area.
Ate there once and wouldn%26#39;t go back. Hubby%26#39;s chicken was reformed chicken roll and not real chicken, my flank steak wasn%26#39;t great. Won%26#39;t repeat the experience.
The wife and I were there last week. We had breakfast, lunch and two dinners there. We love the place. They were the most pleasant waitresses and bartenders at TI(I will post my opinions of TI in a later post). FYI....it can be expensive if you drink alot,what we did was gather the 2 for 1 drink coupons and used them. You can find them around TI. They also have coupons for breakfst,lunch and dinner..
Dueling piano%26#39;s was a blast(Monday,Tuesday and Wednesday). Flairing bartenders were incredible and after they do their show....free shots for everyone.
I would recommend going, you will have a great time.
