i will be leaving on june 29th which is a friday and am assuming fridays are a horrible day to go into vegas. that said, i was wondering what time would be best to leave to avoid major traffic? I am coming from the irvine area. thanks!

Between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and you should miss the morning commute and beat the afternoon crowd.

I was born and raised in The OC before I moved to Vegas for college. Ive Made that trip 100 times. If you dont have Fast Track get it before your trip, especially if you live there. Like the poster says if you can leave before 200pm or 230, but anything after 3pm the 91 gets bad. From Irvine if you leave in the AM you will be going against traffic so it wont be bad getting out of SoCal.

leave about 930am after everyone is at work and school. You should have little traffic once you get on the 15. If you stop at rest area and gas at stateline, you should be in vegas by 1 pm, ive made this run many times. Have fun!!

I work in OC, and have done this drive many times. The 91 often times gets awful before 3 pm on Fridays. I would definitely not wait that long. I%26#39;d say plan to leave around 9 am and you should make it with little to no traffic. I live off the 15 %26amp; 91 and rarely encounter any traffic on the 15 leaving at that time of day. Besides, the earlier you leave the earlier you get to Vegas!!!!

leave by noon at the absolute latest, anytime earlier is ok becasue you are against traffic. About 10 would be best
