MGM Questions

Have booked my first stay at MGM for 4 night in September. This is part of a longer trip as we are going to try a couple of different hotels this time.

Usually stay a Luxor. In the mornings around 0600 I head down to the casino to drink, smoke and play a few slots. This time of morning in the Luxor is usually peacefull. Not a lot going on.

So I am wondering what is MGM casino like in the early AM? Still going strong or only the previous nights remains?

Friends of mine just got back from MGM on Sunday. Funny that you mention the early morning hours-because they woke up around 6am, went down to get some coffee and there were alot of people still partying from the night before-still all dressed up and obviously had just gotten out of the clubs that closed around 4am. The MGM is huge though, I%26#39;m sure there%26#39;s a low key area to hang out and drink, smoke and play VP--I love to hang out at a VP bar in the early morning too!

Earliest I%26#39;ve ever tromped downstairs here was 9:30 am. It was pretty quiet at that time.... some action. but not a lot...

Pretty much every casino is slow at 6:00 a.m. A few leftovers from the previous nights activivities and early risers like yourself is all you%26#39;ll find on the casino floor.

I%26#39;ve been down in the casino numerous times between 7 and 8 am. There are usually a few card games going, and from the looks of the players they have been sitting there a loooong time. You can pretty much have a row or two of slots to yourself. Most of the table games are closed. I like it too. No strollers to trip over, or people stopping in the middle of the walkway because they%26#39;ve discovered that they%26#39;re truly lost (read the signs!!!).
