dinner advice

Hi, me again.

25 days to go !!!!!

As we are first timers the tips and advice have been invaluable, so I thank you all very much.

On Thurs 13th June 4 of us are seeing O at 10.30pm.

Where is the best place to dine beforehand. Somewhere close to the Bellagio ( 2 of us WILL be wearing heels) ( the girls of course - although you never know!! - that would be funny my husbands 6ft2'; and 238lbs !$%%26amp;@~).

It will be the eve of my hubby%26#39;s 40th birthday so will probably be our blowout meal or at least one of them ( see comment below)

Looking at one of the Bellagio restaurants or a Paris one so we get a view of the fountains.

Which would you guy%26#39;s recommend and I assume I%26#39;ll need to make reservations.

We will visit Rosemary%26#39;s and Hugo%26#39;s on different days thanks to the recommendations.

Cheers.

dinner advice

If you want a serious blowout meal then you%26#39;ve a few choices at Bellagio depending on what sort of food you%26#39;d like. Prime, Picasso, Circo or Le Cirque would all be great choices for a serious culinary experience overlooking the fountains. Michael Mina is a great restaurant too but it doesn%26#39;t have the view.

There%26#39;s nowhere at Paris (fountain view or otherwise) that comes remotely close to the quality of any of these places. If you choose one of these then make a reservation as soon as possible as you%26#39;re less than a month away.

dinner advice

Careful when you say blowout meal in Vegas. The sky is definitely the limit especially at a place like Prime.

The restaurants in Caesars are also a convenient walk to the B for the show. I have enjoyed Mesa Grill twice and recommend it to everyone.

Here%26#39;s another suggestion. Save your blow-out meal for the night you are not going to O. Knowing how I feel after that kind of meal, I am not sure I would want to see O. Don%26#39;t get me wrong. I loved O but after a heavy meal and drinking, it might not be the best combo. It might also rush your meal if you know you have to get to a show.

thanks damama,

hadn%26#39;t thought about it that way!

OK - SO scrap the blowout for another night.

A nice meal, walking distance to the B to see O. With a view of the fountains.

Thoughts please.

Olives in Bellagio is upscale but not a huge blow-out-your-wallet place like some of the others. They have a patio that has a full view of the fountains.

My vote goes to Olives at Bellagio or Mon Ami Gabi at Paris. We did the latter before O and the walk in heels was just fine.

Or you could see the early O show and eat afterwards.

firsttimer, seats booked for the late show, they only had back balcony seats left for the early show when we rang last week!!
